There's some good news coming out of Washington this week. A group of U.S. representatives has introduced legislation that would give Medicare Advantage enrollees the ability to use audio-only telehealth calls during the public health emergency—and for providers to be reimbursed for them. The move has been backed by America’s Health Insurance Plans, or AHIP.

Then, AAHomecare weighed in on last week’s newly-published DMEPOS fee schedule for oxygen, calling it a “major win” that will boost oxygen reimbursements by some $650 million over the next decade. “This is one of the most significant single measures to bolster reimbursement rates for an important segment of our industry in recent memory,” AAHomecare President and CEO Tom Ryan said.
