Here’s a bit of clinical news on the oxygen front: A new study found that COVID-19 patients treated with home oxygen were unlikely to return to the hospital or die. The study, published in JAMA Network Open, looked at 621 patients discharged from the hospital and treated at home for 30 days and concluded that home oxygen ensured “the right care in the right place at the right time.” You can read it here

The median age of patients in the study was 51, which is relevant given that the Centers for Disease Control is reporting more people in their 30s and 40s are being hospitalized with severe symptoms.

Meanwhile, demand for protective masks is sky-high. Make that demand for real masks: Customs officials say that they've seized millions of counterfeit N-95 masks, and the numbers are increasing exponentially.
