The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has published guidance on reprocessing manual complex rehab technology (CRT) accessories claims with dates of service in the first half of this year. A reminder: Congress exempted CRT accessories from bidding-derived prices for 18 months starting January 1, 2020. Read more here.


Final Rule Clarifies Hospice for Medicare Advantage
A new final rule clarifies hospice under Medicare Advantage. Hospice has traditionally been excluded from MA plans, however, data from the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) indicates that approximately 53% of MA decedents in 2018 received hospice care. Find the rule here.
