CMS Suspends Advanced Payment Program, Reevaluates Accelerated Payments
Citing significant relief to providers from the CARES Act through the Provider Relief Fund, CMS is suspending additional emergency payments via the Advanced Payment Program to Part B suppliers. Suppliers are typically required to pay back funds within a year or less, depending on supplier type, but relief funds won’t need to be repaid.
