As we talk more and more about telehealth and other technology in homecare, it’s interesting to see the AARP report that found that 82% of older Americans are relying on tech to connect with others since the pandemic began. The survey found that 44% feel more positive about using technology to connect than they did before COVID-19—and 70% say they’ve tried video chat, up from fewer than half two years ago. Some big industry moves this week, including the news that Humana is buying the remaining 60% interest in Kindred at Home in a deal worth some $8 billion including Humana's existing stake in Kindred.
