WATERLOO, Iowa (December 2, 2016)—Industry veteran Jim Greatorex has been selected as vice president of Accessible Home Improvement of America (AHIA), a division of VGM Group, Inc.

As vice president, Greatorex will be responsible for overseeing AHIA’s nationwide network of certified providers and contractors. He will also be tasked with helping members develop business strategies to educate consumers on the many products and services available to live independently.

“We are elated that Jim will lead our AHIA division,” said Clint Geffert, president of VGM & Associates. “His experience in business development, coupled with his drive to see our membership groups succeed will provide a significant impact for providers and manufacturers dedicated to the home accessibility marketplace.”

Greatorex joined VGM in 2015, where he served as director of business development for its Retail Services division. He has over 35 years of experience in the HME industry and looks forward to bringing that wealth of knowledge to AHIA.

“I look forward to working with both our members and vendor partners to help them become home modification leaders in their markets and provide professional, nationally recognized solutions that help Americans age in place,” said Greatorex. “The home modification market will continue to grow as baby boomers age. By bringing providers and manufacturers together, we will evolve the industry as a team.”
