COLUMBIA, Tenn. (December 1, 2020)—SleepGlad, an artificial intelligence CPAP mask fitting software company, was formed in early 2020 by Akhil Raghuram, MD, with hopes of optimizing mask fittings during sleep studies in his sleep lab—and to avoid waking the patients. The machine-learning technology is built on an artificial intelligence infrastructure that continues to maximize accuracy.

Baxter Management purchased SleepGlad in October. This acquisition allows for a complete and seamless remote PAP set up and replenishment through S3 Resupply, part of the Baxter Management suite of products. The collaboration offers end-to-end patient care from intake to fitting/setup to supply replenishment management with features such as document processing, video chat, electronic signatures, product demos, and plans to integrate electronic CMNs. SleepGlad is integrated into the S3 app.

David Baxter, president of Baxter Management said, “We are excited to have SleepGlad join our family of companies. We look forward to the continued growth of this phenomenal product while contributing to positive outcomes in sleep health and patient care.”

SleepGlad’s 3D scans can be done entirely remotely or in a clinical setting. The patient experience is easy with a quick “selfie” photo, and there is nothing for the patient to download. The SleepGlad experience comes with a 100% refit guarantee for their home medical equipment and sleep lab clients. Mask selection isn’t limited to one manufacturer. The platform is built to be manufacturer neutral, offering the client the ability to customize and add preferences from the product lines of ResMed, Philips Respironics, Fisher & Paykel, or 3B.
