MINNETONKA, Minn. (March 30, 2021) – Accra, a provider of homecare services based in Minnesota, has promoted Susan Morgan to Chief Operating Officer. Morgan will assume increased responsibility for operational performance and the overall client and caregiver experience.
 
Over more than a decade at Accra, Morgan has served in several roles, including program director, chief compliance officer and most recently, chief program officer. She has implemented numerous changes from regulatory agencies and overseen operations of all Accra programs and their assigned program directors. Accra’s variety of programs includes PCA Choice, Financial Management Services, 245D Waivered Programs, Home Health Care, Assisted Living and Mental Health Services.

Morgan has extensive experience in a wide variety of health care fields. Before joining Accra, she spent nearly three decades working as Director of Nursing for Goodhue County Public Health, as a homecare nurse for Fairview Health Services, as well as various roles in long-term care and within hospital systems.
 
As both a medical professional and energetic registered nurse, Morgan enjoys working with others who take pride in caregiving and sharing best practices. She is an active member or board member for several homecare industry organizations, including the Minnesota Home Care Association, the Minnesota Department of Health Home Care and Assisted Living Program Advisory Council and LeadingAge Minnesota.
