ARLINGTON, Va. (May 11, 2021)—AAHomecare is currently accepting nominations for one open position on the board of directors. To be nominated, you must be an employee or owner of an AAHomecare member company in good standing. 

Members of the board of directors are leaders in the industry. As a board member of AAHomecare, you are expected to be available to other members to answer questions about AAHomecare activities and to recruit new members. A full list of legal responsibilities of board members is available to those who are interested. 

Board members are expected to fulfill the following standards:

  • All board members are expected to prepare for and participate actively in board meetings. Preparation involves thoroughly reviewing materials provided to the board prior to the board meeting. 
  • All board members are expected to complete and sign an annual conflict of interest disclosure statement
  • All board members are expected to comply with the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the association as well as all applicable laws, rules, policies, and procedures governing Board activities.
