MT. JULIET, Tenn. (June 9, 2021)—Permobil announced that Charlotta Nyberg has been appointed new chief financial officer of the company. Nyberg will be responsible for the financial management of the group and will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable long-term business growth and success through corporate development and profitability management. Specifically, group accounting, group finance, corporate development and group IT will report to the CFO.

Nyberg brings 20 years of experience in business finance, building new and emerging businesses and change management. Nyberg joins from Swedish telecommunications multi-national Telia where she is the vice president for Corporate Control.

Prior to Telia, Nyberg had leadership positions in Ericsson, Business Sweden and began her career with 10 years at Accenture.

Reporting to the CEO, Bengt Thorsson, Nyberg joins Permobil's group management team as of November 1. Nyberg replaces Carl Bandhold who leaves Permobil after more than 10 years to take on a new challenge.
