SPARTANBURG, S.C. (June 5, 2020)—QS/1 announced the launch of the iQ Virtual Series. This online educational experience will take the place of the much anticipated 2020 iQ Conference, canceled earlier this year due to COVID-19 restrictions. The iQ Virtual Series will offer product training, industry education, continuing education credits, and provide an ongoing educational platform for QS/1 customers.

“QS/1 and Integra want to ensure our customers and their staff still receive the valuable information presented at the gatherings each year,” said Kirsten Henry, director of Branded Experiences for RedSail Technologies. “We know industry information and continuing education hours are a crucial part of the knowledge provided at these events and help pharmacists better do their jobs and serve patients.”

QS/1 and Integra will begin this ongoing virtual program June 24 with Series 1, which will focus on customer panels examining lessons learned and our response to COVID-19. They will also feature product training on new releases of the companies’ pharmacy management systems, and the Interface Café, the newest addition to the agenda.

“The Interface Café is an interactive virtual room,” Henry added. “Four of our interface experts will be available on Live Wednesday to discuss many of the add-on components that complement their systems. Our interfaces not only improve efficiency, but in many cases help pharmacies tap into additional revenue streams that can help them survive in this growing marketplace.”

Pharmacists and pharmacy staff will get short, targeted learning opportunities from the comfort of their own computer. The virtual program also allows for continued social distancing and being able to get back to helping patients when the sessions are over. The best part, the iQ Virtual Series is complimentary with no registration fees.

“We are also delighted to continue our popular Exhibit Hall,” Henry said. “Community pharmacists can still connect with vendors and get demonstrations of the various products and platforms that can be utilized.”
